Cadets March To Victory

By Dunfermline.info - Wed, 27th Sep 2006

1145 (Dunfermline) Squadron ATC Drill team marched their way to becoming the regional drill champions for the third year running.
The event took place at Tulliallan Police College on Sunday 24th September.

The weather was very unkind but familiar and all the teams did well to have to drill their waterproof jackets. Something they hadn`t done before.

The inspection of the uniforms took place in the hall in the College and then outside for the real action of the day.

Six teams took part in this years Anuual Event, each team representing the six wings that make up Scotland and Northern ireland region of the Air Training Corps.

The teams are marked on standards of uniforms and accuracy and sharpness of the set drill sequence.

Winning this event means that the team from 1145 (Dunfermline) Squadron will now travel to RAF Halton in Buckinghamshire where they will take part in the competition to find the best team in the UK.
