Forty years on from ‘The House of the Rising Sun’, enjoy the music and memories of one of the most enduring and distinctive performers in the British Rock and Roll and Blues scene.

In An Evening with Alan Price, the popular keyboard player will be sharing songs and stories from the 50`s to the present day. During his impressive musical career, he`s reached the top of the charts with ‘The House of the
Rising Sun’, worked with Georgie Fame and Bob Dylan and has composed numerous film and TV soundtracks and title music such as ‘O Lucky Man’, ‘The Whales Of August’, ‘Brittania Hospital’, ‘A Night On The Tyne’ and many others.

The show is an anecdotal trek across the British Rock and Roll and Blues landscape from the late 1950`s to the present day with occasional voyages across the Atlantic and beyond.

He recently received recognition for his contribution to music with his induction to the Rock `n` Roll Hall of Fame and has also been awarded The Gold Badge of Merit by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts. Now he looks back on forty years in rock and roll through his own colourful words and music.
