40th Fife Touch Scout Group

The Fife Touch Scout Group, Skye Pack Cubs have won the annual Safety Competition.
The competition was run with 15 bases from the emergency services, they included bases from the Fire Service who brought along some laptops and gave an interactive approach to fire safety, The St Andrews Ambulance who covered First Aid issues from bandaging to recovery position.

The Road Safety department of Fife constabulary contributed with road safety issues, The Royal Life saving society covered bases of Water Safety and the Local Scout Leader had bases on Country Code, camping, knotting and Hill Safety.

There were 7 teams competing fro this which was held by the 81st last year, The winning Team from the 40th Fife Touch Scout Group Skye Pack consisted of 4 members Calum O`Donnell, Julie Blanchflower, Ryan Kay and Stuart Whitelaw.

The standards from all teams were quite high as 3 teams came in joint 2nd.
The Fife Touch Scout Group, Skye Pack Cubs have won the annual Safety Competition. This was held on Sunday the 23rd of February 2003.
