The Great Scottish Walk

Recently cadets from 1145 (Dunfermline) Squadron Air Training Corps took part in the 12 mile Great Scottish Walk around the city centre of Edinburgh.
The walk started at Holyrood Park and took the cadets around Arthurís Seat, Princes Street Gardens and to the Royal Yacht Britannia at the Port of Leith. The 12 cadets and 3 members of staff raised a total of over £500 which will be used to buy new squadron training equipment. The cadets finished in places 50 through to 62 out of over 3800 walkers and brought home to Fife the boys under 18 team trophy. The staff however, after coming about 730th, are in training for next year!!
