Aly Bain and Phil Cunningham, Carnegie Hall

Aly and Phil are two of Scotland`s best-loved traditional musicians, with their shows regarded as one of the high points of the Scottish musical calendar.

Aly is regarded as Scotland`s foremost traditional-style fiddler. He was a founder member of the great Boys of the Lough, and his television series Down Home and The Transatlantic Sessions 1& 2 were widely acclaimed.

Phil trained classically in the accordion and violin, before joining his brother John in Silly Wizard and achieving popularity worldwide. He presented The World Accordion to Phil last year, journeying through Europe to play with some of the finest Celtic musicians.
